In 2010, The Right Place assisted 1,152 companies, connecting them to a variety of assistance programs. For many of them, that included assembling incentive packages to support more than $80 million in new investment, over 1,400 created and retained jobs, and more than $45 million in new payroll.

Building a Sustainable Community

- Led the development of GrandWalk: a 1,200-acre sustainable business park created from reclaimed industrial property with incentives supporting reinvestment
- Partnered with NextEnergy – an organization created to foster the commercialization of renewable energy technologies – to support the use and creation of those technologies among area firms,
- Secured grant funding to support property redevelopment and implementation of sustainable business practices among West Michigan companies.
