Green Suppliers Network
Improve your competitiveness while reducing your impact on the environment. Companies that join the Green Suppliers Network will receive confidential recommendations to:
- Find customized solutions to your manufacturing challenges
- Save money and increase capacity
- See immediate results through hands-on training on the shop floor
- Achieve additional savings and efficiencies beyond traditional lean techniques
- Improve supply chain relationships
Working in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency established the Green Suppliers Network (GSN) to help manufacturers stay competitive and profitable while reducing their impact on the environment. MMTC-West works with the EPA to provide this resource to small and medium-sized manufacturers in West Michigan.
Manufacturers commit to participating in a Lean and Clean review of a product or process line. The Green Suppliers Network’s Lean and Clean Team conducts a technical review at the facility and trains staff on the Lean and Clean Advantage. EPA is not involved in any onsite technical assistance.
Large manufacturers can become corporate sponsors and build a stronger, greener supply chain.
