The Grand Rapids SmartZone Grand Rapids is home to one of 11 SmartZones throughout Michigan. SmartZones are specially designed technology parks created to foster the growth of technology-related and research-oriented businesses. Within SmartZones, technology companies, universities, and research organizations form integrated clusters that accelerate the development of intellectual property and businesses.
Innovation West Michigan West Michigan’s recognized expert in connecting companies to ideas, methods and resources to promote regional innovation and job growth. (IWM) provides an integrated system of resources designed to help regional businesses mine for new technologies and connect companies to ideas for commercialization.
The West Michigan Science & Technology Initiative (WMSTI) supports the commercialization of life science products and technologies.
