The Right Place is the Western Michigan Regional Office for this statewide network of enterprise development programs. Services include customized benchmarking and consulting, industry councils, user groups, workshops, conferences and more.

Developed by The Right Place, Inc., InnovationWorks (IW) is a regional initiative dedicated to accelerating the commercialization of products, processes and services in West Michigan. Serving a seven-county region (Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, Muskegon, Newaygo and Ottawa), IW provides an integrated system of resources designed to mine inventions and new technologies, connect companies to ideas and to coach individuals on commercialization.

Managed by The Right Place, the Michigan Shingo Prize is open to all Michigan manufacturers and includes assistance services designed to help companies improve their manufacturing processes and complete the Shingo award process.

The purpose of the Manufacturing Skills Co-Op is to foster the adoption of world-class human capital development systems in area manufacturing companies that will improve their productivity and competitiveness. The Co-Op will accomplish this by creating a collaborative structure that enables member companies to share across organizational boundaries at three levels:
- Sharing of best practices, information and standards.
- Engaging in joint projects and problem solving.
- Developing and implementing shared systems for human talent development.
