Work Group Objectives

Membership & Marketing Work Group

  • Review survey data with a focus on member and company profiles.
  • Define scope & size goals of council
    Obtain council agreement
  • Identify council capability gaps (based on scope & size goals).
  • Define and develop appropriate marketing/PR tools.
  • Prepare recruitment plan (based on gaps).
  • Compile a calendar of opportunities to market the council.
  • Recruit.

Internal Programming & Content Delivery Work Group

  • Review survey data with a focus on member and company needs/interests.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for addressing needs/interests (including internal expertise sharing).
  • Begin with recommendations for 2006 knowledge sharing component of council meetings.
  • Develop a 12-month plan for learning, content exploration, and skill development initiatives for the benefit of Council members and their companies.

External Programming & Content Delivery Work Group

  • Review survey data with a focus on member and company needs/interests.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for advancing regional knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Begin with a calendar for the Sunrise Series.
  • Develop 12-month plan for educational initiatives and content management that engage the external audience - # of events, timing of events, types of events.
