President & CEO of The Right Place, Birgit Klohs, has been selected as one of the Grand Rapids Business Journal’s (GRBJ) 50 Most Influential Women in West Michigan for 2020.
Klohs has led The Right Place since 1987, which has spurred more than $4.8 billion in new investment for the Greater Grand Rapids Region and upwards of 47,000 new and retained jobs. She is a leading economic development strategist, collaborating with local, State and national organizations on critical issues related to economic development. She is also heavily involved in other parts of the community through her service on many local and state-wide boards.
GRBJ’s 50 Most Influential Women is a celebration of West Michigan women who are leaders in their industries and are making a difference in the community in a variety of ways.
