WalletHub named Grand Rapids one of the top 10 best cities in the country to launch a career. In a comparison study of 182 cities, Grand Rapids was named the No.10 best city for recent graduates entering the job market.

To come up with the ranking scores, the WalletHub team used dimensions of ‘Professional Opportunities’ and ‘Quality of Life,’ and evaluated them with 27 relevant metrics. On a scale of 182 cities, Grand Rapids scored eighth in ‘Professional Opportunities’ and 37th in ‘Quality of Life.’ This resulted in an overall score of 57.13, with the highest overall score being 67.83
