In October, The Right Place and the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center-West (MMTC-West) welcomed Terry Hossink as MMTC’s newest Business Development Specialist. Terry will work with manufacturers in West Michigan to help them assess their opportunities for continuous improvement and growth.
Terry has over 30 years of manufacturing experience with processes such as thermo-forming, stamping, sheet metal, machining, assembly, and extrusion. He has worked in the roles of Shop Floor Supervisor, Production Manager, Plant Manager, and quoting and lean implementation for a number of tier 1 and aftermarket automotive companies.
“Terry is another great addition to the MMTC-West team,” said Justine Burdette, Vice President of Technical Services and MMTC Regional Director. “West Michigan’s manufacturers are innovating and growing quickly. The addition of Terry allows us to act as a trusted advisor to more of them.”
In his new role, Hossink will provide MMTC services and support for Allegan and Ottawa counties. “I’m excited to continue contributing to West Michigan’s manufacturing community,” said Hossink. “MMTC-West has the tools and resources to build stronger, more agile manufacturers, and I look forward to serving those in Allegan and Ottawa.”
Hossink studied Business Administration and History at Calvin College.
