About the Council
The West Michigan Food Processors Council (FPC) is a 13-county, regional initiative that utilizes a collaborative environment to promote, facilitate, enable, and advocate for advancing a "Best In Class" food processing sector. The Council seeks to be the regional forum for advancing processors success in West Michigan.
The Council was created in partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, The Right Place, Inc., and The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center - West (The Center-West).
The FPC is comprised of 15-25 progressive West Michigan food processors. Ideal company representatives are generalists and a strategic member of management able to speak on behalf of their company. The council is facilitated and managed by The Right Place, Inc. and The Center-West.
