Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) Workshops
Consistent food safety fundamentals are often difficult to provide for an organization. Completing a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) Plan Development Course enables you to be better equipped to identify and avoid food safety risks. This course is a mixture of lecture and hands-on learning and is considered to be "moderate level" training accredited by the International HACCP Alliance. Process Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) Workshops
The Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) is the first major update of federal food safety laws since 1938. FSMA gives the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) broad new powers to prevent food safety problems, detect and respond to food safety issues, and improve the safety of imported foods. All food facilities must establish and implement a Food Safety Plan that includes an analysis of hazards and risk-based preventive controls. A Preventative Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) is required to prepare and oversee the implementation of the facility's Food Safety Plan in compliance with the FSMA requirements.
