Karen serves as Program Manager for Hello West Michigan, a talent attraction and retention organization promoting West Michigan as a great place to live and work. As Program Manager, Karen executes and manages all of the Hello West Michigan programs, and assists the Executive Director with strategy, membership development, and promotion. Hello West Michigan is a strategic partner of The Right Place and co-located in their office.

Past Experience:

Karen is a recent transplant to West Michigan, moving to Grand Rapid in 2024. Prior to her move, Karen served as Production Stage Manager at the Purple Rose Theatre Company in Chelsea, MI. Karen brings a unique blend of skills to the table, with experience in HR and recruitment, as well as in non-profit and arts management.
