The Right Place's 2026-2028 Strategic Plan Launch Event

Join The Right Place as we formally launch our 2026–2028 Strategic Plan, a shared roadmap for the Greater Grand Rapids region shaped by the collective insight, expertise, and leadership of the people who know this region best. This event is an opportunity to come together, reflect on the collaborative process that brought this plan to life, and see how your input helped define the priorities that will guide our work over the next three years.

Over the course of 2025, The Right Place engaged more than 550 business leaders, industry experts, educators, and community stakeholders through 22 strategic planning sessions, along with a comprehensive business survey reaching 375 businesses, 166 community leaders, and 33 educators. Through roundtables, workshops, and candid conversations, stakeholders helped identify challenges, opportunities, and bold strategies to ensure the region continues to compete — and win — at a national level.

This strategic plan represents a shared vision for our region’s economic future, shaped by those working, leading, investing, and living here. At this launch event, we will highlight key themes from the plan, outline our focus areas for 2026–2028, and connect the dots between stakeholder input and the strategies that emerged as a result.
