The Right Place, Inc. and the Montcalm Economic Alliance (MEA) are pleased to announce the appointment of Dayna Neff as the new Executive Director of the MEA. Neff started in the position in March 2025.

In her new role, Neff will lead efforts to drive economic growth and business development throughout Montcalm County. She will serve as the primary contact for companies looking to grow in the region, working to connect businesses with resources and opportunities that support sustainable success.

Neff brings more than two decades of leadership experience in community development, workforce training, philanthropy, and relationship management. Most recently, she served as a Client Relationships Manager at Frontline Training Solutions, where she supported partners in navigating training and development initiatives. Her career also includes leadership roles at the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids, Dow Chemical/Greater Midland, and the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors.

“I started my career here in Montcalm County and I’m grateful to be back,” said Neff. “This region is full of potential, and I look forward to working alongside our community partners to strengthen economic opportunities, attract new investment, and support the local workforce.”

The Montcalm Economic Alliance, originally re-energized in 2015 through a partnership with The Right Place, serves as the county’s primary economic development organization. Through this collaboration, Montcalm County has gained regional visibility and access to expanded economic development services, positioning the area as a key player in West Michigan’s economy.

“Dayna’s experience and passion for community advancement make her a strong fit for this role,” said Tim Mroz, SVP of Community Development at The Right Place. “We’re confident she will continue to elevate Montcalm County’s presence in the region and drive meaningful impact for local employers and residents alike.”
